At Daniel Cooper Historic Building Consultants we specialise in all aspects of repairs, alteration, extension and maintenance of Listed and older properties.
Legislation relating to properties is complex. Older properties rely on different technologies than modern properties. Our aim is to help and guide you through this process.
Our company has been established for over 20 years in the Tunbridge Wells area.
We have worked on a wide variety of Listed buildings from small traditional farm buildings, to grand mansion houses.
We offer a holistic approach to maintenance, repair, alteration and extension of historic properties.

Our team consists of three people, a Chartered Building Surveyor, Construction Manager and Practice Manager. Daniel Cooper has been working with Listed Buildings since 1995. He has a degree in Geography from The University of Nottingham. After leaving university Daniel worked on building sites for three years - providing him with an insight into construction practice on the other side of the fence.
Daniel then studied for a Diploma in Surveying from The College of Estate Management and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1999. Due to the amount of work on listed buildings Daniel wanted to formalise his training and enrolled upon a MSc in Conservation of the Built Environment. He was awarded the Purcell prize for academic achievement for years 1 and 2 of the course and a distinction as his overall grade.
We mainly work within the South East from the centre of London to the coast, but the majority of our work is in Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and surrounding villages.
We inspect buildings for purchase, repair defects and design new additions. We specialise in Listed and heritage buildings.
